Accelerating Airport Construction & Development, Angkasa Pura Airports Signed Memorandum Of Understanding With Attorney General Of Republic Indonesia

JAKARTA, February 7, 2018 - Angkasa Pura Airports signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence (JAMINTEL) of the Attorney General of the Republic Indonesia about Government and Construction Supervision and Security Team (TP4), at Sasana Pradana Attorney General, Jakarta, Wednesday  (7 / 2).

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was carried out by the Director of Angkasa Pura Airports, Faik Fahmi along with Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence, Jan S Maringka, witnessed by the Attorney General of Indonesia, H.M. Prasetyo, Minister of Transportation of RI, Budi Karya Sumadi and Deputy of Construction Business of Transportation Infrastructure Facilities of Ministry of SOE, Ahmad Bambang.

"The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding is based on the spirit and efforts to support the improvement of cooperation, synergy and coordination in the implementation of escort, government security and development, especially in Angkasa Pura Airports as a state-owned enterprise in airport area," Faik Fahmi said, as Director of Angkasa Pura Airports.

Through the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, the National Strategic Project undertaken by Angkasa Pura Airports such as the New Terminal Construction of Ahmad Yani Airport Semarang, the New Terminal Construction of Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin and Yogyakarta International Airport in Kulon Progo and other airport construction projects will receive escort from the Government and Construction Supervision and Security Team (TP4). The term of Memorandum of Understanding between Angkasa Pura Airports and the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia is for 2 (two) years since it was signed.

"We hope that the assistance from the Attorney General's Office will be able to help Angkasa Pura Airports, which is intensively implementing the acceleration of construction and development of airports where almost all airports managed by the company experience a condition of lack of capacity. This acceleration is expected to realize airport services, good air connectivity in the eastern region and contribute to regional economic development as well as future corporate earnings," Faik Fahmi added.
