Angkasa Pura Airports Achieved SOEs Performance Excellence Award 2017

JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports succeeded in achieving the "Good Performance" title in the  SOEs Performance Excellence Award (BPEA) 2017 based on Criteria for Superior Performance Evaluation (KPKU) held by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) through the State-Owned Enterprise Excellent Forum (FEB). The award of Performance Excellence Award 2017 was received directly by Moch. Asrori the Director of Marketing and Service of Angkasa Pura I at BNI Head Office, Jakarta, Monday (6/11/2017).

"This award is an appreciation of the superior performance, internal improvements as well as the commitment of Angkasa Pura Airports which continues to maintain and implement good corporate governance. Through the implementation and measurement of KPKU, we are committed to continuously improve the performance and competitiveness of the company in the future," said by Moch. Asrori, Director of Marketing and Service of Pura Airports.

BPEA 2017 is the first and gave award to 51 SOEs that have been rated as having the Excellence Level Band at a minimum of Good Performance. There are 33 SOEs awarded with the predicate Good Performance, 14 SOEs with predicate Emerging Industry Leader and 4 SOEs with predicate Industry Leader. All of these are selected from 96 SOEs that have been assessed by the KPKU Assessor Team and who have followed the entire assessment assistance process by the SOEs Excellent Forum.

The KPKU Assessment process on SOEs is implemented in accordance with the policies of the SOE Ministry, in this case the Deputy of Business Infrastructure. KPKU Assessment on SOEs has been conducted since 2012. This assessment was initially only followed by 25 BUMNs, but in the last KPKU assessment has been followed by 96 SOEs from 118 BUMN. Angkasa Pura Airports itself has been following the KPKU Assessment process since 2013.

The KPKU assessment focuses on five criteria: Finance and Markets, Customer Focus, Product and Process Effectiveness, Manpower Focus, Leadership, Governance and Community Responsibility. Based on the results of Assessment of KPKU BUMN 2016 on the assessment of the Most Strength, OFI (Opportunity For Improvement), and the level of excellence, Angkasa Pura Airports achieved the "Good Performance" rating with a score of 537.25 or increased 3.3% when compared to achievement at 2015 with score 520.
