YOGYAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports won the award for SOEs with the title "Very Good" for the financial performance during 2016 for the Airportcategory at Infobank SOEs Awards 2017 event at Royal Ambarrukmo Hotel, Yogyakarta. The award certificateof Infobank SOE Awards 2017 was awarded by Infobank Institute President Director Rully Ferdian who was received directly by Finance and Information Technology Director Angkasa Pura Airports Novrihandri.

In 2016, Angkasa Pura Airports booked passenger growth and double-digit profit. During 2016, the company served as many as 84.7 million passengers, or still able to grow double digits by 14.3 percent compared to 2015. In addition, air traffic recorded 762 thousand movements, up 8.8 percent compared to last year, and 362 cargoes, 5 thousand tons or an increase of 11.4%.

The increase in passengers has an impact on revenue that also grows double digits. In the fiscal year of 2016, Angkasa Pura Airports succeeded in earning a net profit of 1.1 trillion IDR, an increase of 34% compared to 2015. In addition, our operating income reached 6.1 trillion IDR, an increase of 18% over the previous year. Of the total revenue, 3.6 trillion IDR or 59% came from the aeronautical business, and 2.5 trillion IDR or 41% came from non-aeronautical businesses.

The Awards from Infobank BUMN Awards 2017 given to 56 SOEs are considered to have financial performance with the predicate "Very Good" during the year 2015-2016. The results were obtained based on the rating made by the Infobank Research Bureau on 166 SOEs.

Infobank BUMN Awards 2017 itself is an annual awards agenda conducted by Infobank Magazine. Year 2017 became the 8th year of Infobank in giving appreciation to SOEs that are able to achieve the best performance. [AD]
