Angkasa Pura Airports Signed Agreement With The Unions And Employees Association

JAKARTA - The management of Angkasa Pura Airports signed the 5th Collective Labor Agreement (PKB) with Labor Unions Angkasa Pura I and Employees Association Angkasa Pura I. In this PKB agreed 153 agreements to improve the welfare of employees and the company's progress. The PKB signing ceremony conducted by the Director of Angkasa Pura Airports, Danang S. Baskoro, Director of Personnel & General Angkasa Pura Airports, Adi Nugroho, together with the Chairman of Trade Unions Angkasa Pura I, Sulistiani and Chairman of the Association of Employees of Angkasa Pura I (AKA), Donny Asriyadi witnessed by Director of Industrial Dispute Settlement Ministry of Manpower RI, John S. Saragih at Ngurah Rai Meeting Room 6th floor, Grha Angkasa Pura I, Jakarta, Tuesday (22/08/2017).

"We would like to thank to the PKB Negotiating Team, from the management of Angkasa Pura Airports, Labor Union and Employees Association until it happens the agreement between Management and the workers' representatives. We hope that what has been agreed in the PKB between the management of Angkasa Pura Airports, Unions Angkasa Pura I and Employees Association of Angkasa Pura I can work together to advance the company we love and to improve the welfare of the human being of Angkasa Pura I," said by President Director of Angkasa Pura Airports, Danang S. Baskoro.

In his speech, Chairman of the Labor Union Angkasa Pura Airports, Sulistiani said the presence of PKB not only abort an obligation on Law No. 19 of 2013 About SOE, which mandates the need for collective agreement which regulates the rights and obligations of workers SOEs but also very important for all employees of Angkasa Pura I as a means to Humanize employees at work place with legal certainty. The Collective Labor Agreement between Angkasa Pura Airports and Trade Union and Employees' Association has passed the stage of verifying the number of members and negotiation stages twice in Solo (5-9 December 2016) and Banyuwangi (5-6 July 2017) under the guidance of the Republic Indonesian Ministry of Manpower And Central Jakarta Administration City Services. The term of this joint agreement is for 2 years since signed.

Director of Industrial Relations Dispute Settlement Ministry of Manpower, John S. Saragih in his speech said that the year 2017 is the year of acceleration of manpower development. In the labor sector, the Ministry of Manpower continues to make breakthroughs to achieve accelerated development of competent, highly competitive and characterized personnel amid rapid technological developments and airport-based services. A competent, specific, and highly competitive workforce should be upgraded in Angkasa Pura I. "We hope that all good parties from Angkasa Pura Airports Management, Workers Union and Employees' Association can work well and exercise their rights and obligations without any disputes within these two years," John S.
