The Code of Conduct is a compilation of commitments that consists of Business Ethics and Work Ethics that are intended to influence, shape, and regulate the behavior of all personnel of the organization to act in accordance with the corporate culture in achieving the vision and mission of the organization.
The Code of Conduct is a guideline for every personnel of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) and it serves as a clear reference to act in accordance with the corporate values. By complying with this code of conduct, it is expected to contribute and protect the welfare of its key stakeholders and help strengthen the corporate value and image.
PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) is aware of the importance of implementing Good Corporate Governance or GCG, as a tool to enhance business value and ensure sustainable long term growth not only for the Shareholders, but also for all the Stakeholders.
For this reason, the Company is committed to consistently implement GCG by reviewing and improving the company’s Code of Conduct.
The Code of Conduct shall be continuously adjusted to the development of the applicable law, social environment, norms, regulations and the business development of the company. Any inputs to improve the Code of Conduct are welcomed to be harmonized with the corporate values of the company.
The success in applying the Code of Conduct is highly dependent on the attitude, communication and collective commitment in implementing it in the daily activities of the company.
B.Target of the Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct applies to all stakeholders interacting with PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) including:
1.All personnel of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero), consisting of the Board of Commisioners, Supporting Body of the Board of Commsioners, Board of Directors and employees of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero);
2.Subsidiaries / joint ventures and affiliated companies under the control of PT Angkasa Pura (Persero). Affiliated companies are subsidiaries or business entities directly or indirectly under PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) with more than 50% (fifty percent) vote rights and or PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) has authority to control the business entity;
C.Purpose of the Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct is used as a reference to practice proper conduct for all stakeholders of PT Angkasa Pura (Persero) in harmony with the company’s values and culture that include:
1. For Employees
a.A guideline in practicing proper behavior and avoiding improper behavior as set forth by PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero);
b.To establish a conducive work environment that respects the values and culture of the company to enhance the performance and productivity of all employees.
2. For PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero)
a.To facilitate more efficient and effective operations in relation to employees, business partners, customers, the general public, the government and other stakeholders by complying to the standard ethics;
b.To increase the value of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) by ensuring certainty and protection to the stakeholders of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) and maintain the reputation of the company for sustainable business.
3. For Shareholders
Maintain the trust of the shareholders of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) so that the company is managed in a prudent, efficient, transparent, accountable and fair manner to ensure the profitability of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero).
4. For Stakeholders
Establish a harmonized and mutually beneficial relationship with stakeholders to maintain the reputation of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) as a committed company to become a good corporate citizen.
D.Responsibility of Employees of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) in implementing the Code of Conduct
The responsibilities of the employees in line with their authority in implementing the Code of Conduct is as follows:
a.Understand the Code of Conduct particulalrly that is relevant to their work. Every employee of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) shall understand the standard ethics stipulated in this Code of Conduct;
b.Comply with the Code of Conduct with full conscience to uphold the company’s values and corporate culture;
c.Immediately report to the authorized officer of the company in case of any alleged violation of the Code of Conduct;
d.Understand the procedure to report any alleged cases of violation of the Code of Conduct;
e.Report any violation of the Code of Conduct;
f.Willing to cooperate with the company in the investigation process of the alleged violation of the Code of Conduct.
E.Responsibility of the Management of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) in implementing the Code of Conduct
The responsibilities of the management in implementing the Code of Conduct are:
1. Develop and maintain a culture of compliance towards the Code of Conduct by:
a.Being a role model in applying the Code of Conduct.
b.Reinforcing compliance and regular supervision;
2.Ensure every employee of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) understands that compliance to the Code of Conduct is as equally important as achieving the company target;
3.Evaluate the employee’s compliance to the Code of Conduct and award the employee;
4. Prevent any breach or violation of the Code of Conduct by:
a.Ensuring that the risk of any violation is detected early and systematically;
b.Identifying and reporting the violation according to the standard procedure;
c.Ensuring the dissemination and application of the Code of Conduct.
5.Apply inbuilt supervision to minimize the risk of violation of the Code of Conduct;
6.Establish a system that protects the identity of the party reporting the violation of the Code;
7.Take follow-up action on reports of violation of Code of Conduct.
