Angkasa Pura Airports Won Partnership Program and Community Development Award 2018

JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports won the "Best Partnership Program & Community Delevopment" award for Transportation & Warehousing category in the Appreciation Partnership Program and Environment Development Indonesia 2018 organized by Warta Ekonomi. The appreciation award was handed over by CEO & Chief Editor of Warta Ekonomi, Muhammad Ihsan to Human Resources & General Affair Director of Angkasa Pura Airports, Adi Nugroho at Hotel Sari Pan Pacific, Jakarta, Monday (30/4).

"This appreciation is an acknowledgment of hard work and Angkasa Pura Airports as an state-owned enterprise to encourage development, economic empowerment and community self-reliance through Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL) in the Angkasa Pura Airports working area continuously," said Adi Nugroho.

For information, in the year 2017 ago Angkasa Pura Airports managed to distribute Partnership Program worth 29.6 billion IDR and Community Development totaling 28.7 billion IDR that was targeted at various programs such as health, social services, empowerment of small and medium enterprises and training and education for community groups. Until the first quarter of 2018, Angkasa Pura Airports has channeled Partnership Program of 555 million IDR and Community Development 3.7 billion IDR.

In the research of Warta Ekonomi Appreciation of Partnership Program and Environment of Indonesia 2018, the winner was judged based on Triple Bottom Line concept. The three indicators that became the Triple Bottom Line assessment were Profit, People and Planet. From each of these indicators will have sub indicators that became the valuation of each SOEs such as social services, tourism, education, health, and productive economy. In the early stages, mapping of PKBL activities of each SOE based on the company's internal official publication was also conducted. The initial results were then supplemented by media monitoring of 40 mainstream media in Indonesia.

"In 2018 we are targeting to channel a Partnership Program worth 31 billion IDR and Community Development worth 34.7 billion IDR through 13 airports managed by Angkasa Pura Airports. We hope that our efforts will support the creation of new jobs, education and skills, health promotion, empowerment of small and medium enterprises, to have a positive impact on the increase in income and welfare of the community in the work area of ​​Angkasa Pura Airports," added by  Adi Nugroho.
