Preparing Millenial Generation in Airport Industry, Angkasa Pura Airports Held "Asia Pacific Regional Airport (APRA) Human Capital Forum 2018"

BALI - The technological advancement and the increasing number of millenial generation workforce must be addressed by stakeholders in various industries, including in the aviation and airport industry. It is necessary to anticipate and adapt to the unique of millennial generation character.

Therefore, in order to anticipate and prepare millennial generation in digital era which technologically responsive in the airport industry, Angkasa Pura Airports organized "Asia Pacific Regional (APRA) Human Capital Forum 2018". The international human capital forum was held on 2-4 May 2018 at The Patra Bali Resort & Villas, Kuta, Bali.

Raising the topic "In the Age of Digitalization, Let's Build the Case of Human Limitation", will present professionals in the field of human capital (HC) and information technology (IT) in regional airport industry. Three international speakers in both fields who will share their materials and experiences related to their respective fields. The three speakers are Kate Barker, Vice President, Executive HR Advisor of SAP Asia Pacific who will talk about "People, Technology, and The Future Airport"; Neha Pareek, IBM Asia Pacific Talent Leader who will talk about "Facing the Industrial 4.0 Era"; and Conrad Clifford, Regional Vice President of IATA Asia Pacific who talks about "Millennials as The Future Leader (How to Manage Them)".

Speakers from Indonesia include the Director of Human Resources and General Affair Angkasa Pura Airports Adi Nugroho who will speak about "Strategy and Innovation to Reach Talented People" and Director of Human Resources, General and TI PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Tina Kemala Intan will be talking about "Human Capital Transformation and Innovation".

"The rapid development of technology has a significant effect on business process change The emergence of a new generation of millennial generation born in the technological era or so-called digital native is also a challenge for the company, because its character is different from the previous generation. To adapt and prepare professionals and talents in the changing industry, companies can not do it themselves and have to build a vast and powerful network." said by Adi Nugroho.
