JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports presented a joyful Christmas atmosphere at 13 managed airports to provide a different atmosphere for air transport passengers. In addition to presenting various decorations such as Christmas tree and Santa Claus, one of the activities that successfully attracted the passengers' attention is "Snowy Christmas" held in the departure terminal area Domestic and International Airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali.

"Snowy Christmas brings Snowman diorama or a big snowman. The prospective passengers who bring children can enjoy their time by playing in the area provided or taking pictures together while waiting for departure time of the plane," said by Faik Fahmi, Director of Angkasa Pura Airports.

In addition to taking pictures together, passengers could also interact directly with the following games such as Snowy Basketball and Play With Snowman with Angkasa Pura Airports officers who were on guard at the scene. The peak of Christmas celebration at Airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai itself was held on 24-25 December 2017. The passengers who will depart can enjoy a variety of exciting entertainment such as Saxophone Acoustic Band, choir group, magic game, face painting and Santa & Santa Girl action.

The splendor of Christmas was also felt by passengers at Sam Ratulangi Airport Manado. Christmas decorations along with other knick knacks were presented to enliven the Christmas of 2017. The 10-meter tall Christmas tree was ready to greet the passengers in front of Terminal Sam Ratulangi Airport. To enhance the comfort, passengers were also treated to a variety of entertainment such as acoustic music performances, Santa Claus giving prizes to passengers, face painting, choir and flash mob, and also held a coloring contest for passengers. This activity has been implemented on 21-23 December 2017.

"The celebration of Christmas is one of those special moments and we hope that what we have presented can bring joy to the passengers who come and leave through the airports we manage," Faik added. [AD]
